Thanks for that. Yes I am skimming the back with adhesive too. I'll stick with the 10mm. It is me paying for the adhesive because it is my floor - I'd always rather pay out and do the job properly.- Ziggy

Hi I am putting down 610mmm x 405mm x 12mm travertine tiles straight onto concrete. The concrete is generally flat with occassional 1-3mm depressions. I therefore have been using a 10mm notched trowel which once the tiles are laid leaves about 6mm of set adhesive underneath. The tiles are...- Ziggy

Problem with Rubi - is it cutter or blade?
Hi I just bought a Rubi DU-200-L-BL tile cutter with a standard blade and also bought a Rubi CPC 200 blade with it to cut travertine. The standard blade works fine but when I fitted the CPC 200 it wedges against the guard and won't turn. I took the blade out and measured it and it is 204mm not...- Ziggy
