The walls are lath and plaster over a stud wall. I have a tonne of 12mm Jakoboard to go up to wetroom the whole room anyway. My question is how would you deal with the uneven walls...

Im a DIYer doing a lot of work on an old house we are f restoring.
I have put down a lot of riven slate downstairs and bought a Rubi DW-250 wet saw for it. Its done a great job. Got more slate to do in the bathroom, but also going to have 50m2 or so of porcelain to do.

I’ve been reccomended the best bet might be just to use the Aqua4ma deck kit and then MR plasterbord on the walls and board the floor then tank the lot. Would you agree with that? It would certainly be a lot cheaper!
