Getting there! It's a bit of a bodge on the vertical trim but I wanted a nice Silicon joint behind the sink so I didn't bring it down to the worktop.
It's a reet pain in the arse doing some after work, setting up doing a bit and clearing up so the missus can use the kitchen!

Thanks for the input chaps.
With a wet diamond cutter I'm able to cut the tiles nicely lengthways.
To save buggering about with buying plasterboard etc. for such a small area I think cutting two tiles to make up the height works.

The window could do with replacing in the not too distant future, I realise it would have been easier to replace the window first but finances & the wife's desire for a new kitchen first got in the way of such sensible...
