Rubi 66 max problem new cutter new tiler

You might find the snapper is slightly bent...was on mine, so fitted an upgraded breaker from Tradetiler...been fine since. You have to be confident when smapping the tile. You need a good firm and smooth motion.

    Adhesive not sticking

    It was a joke :D

    Adhesive not sticking

Ufh or not, it would have still failed, so don't worry about what you mentioned in your first post...it is not your fault. Who tiled it? Was it a tiler or or or another tiler, who really isn't a tiler, but has done a bit of tiling, in their bathroom back in 1970? Using PVA, tends to make me...

    Adhesive not sticking

Whoever advised you was not a tiler Gemma! Chipboard, PVA...not good.

Silicon joins at bottom of wall profiles

    Will be fine...you're worrying unnecessarily.

Silicon joins at bottom of wall profiles

You usually only silicon the outside of a shower enclosure as any water/condensation can escape on the inside. Just follow the instructions if you're scared!

    Long story........

If the floor isn't too rough and just has a few 'dings' in then you could always just fill with rapid set tile Addy perhaps? Its not too complicated to lay once your floor is smooth. Mark the height of your wall trims all the way around. Cut/mitre your coving. Spray/brush impact adhesive...

How Much SLC do you think I need

Well, there's a time to be a rebel, and tiling isn't the time. :D

How Much SLC do you think I need

I can't advise you on specific products, only to say that yes it may be expensive, but if you don't get it flat to start with, in the middle of tiling, you'll wish you had levelled it properly and would gladly part with money to take the pain away! :D

How Much SLC do you think I need

Now you've got the trough filled, why don't you re-level the whole area with SLC and have a nice flat surface to start from?

    Long story........

I had self levelled the floor though!

    Long story........

I've just had a small bathroom done on a job. It was prob only about 3m max, one internal corner to weld. £120 + vat supplied and fitted. Not a true wetroom floor, but only 3 corners from being one.

    Skimming Kerdi board

Its. Certainly not going to suck moisture, but I'd probably blue grit it before skimming to provide a key.

Tiling under existing skirting and dbl glaze profile

Plastic trim profile is cheap as chips. If you're on about, vertical trim around door frame, then just trim the bottom to suit new skirting.
