I know its wrong choice but we are marrying to existing as they have extended entrance. The existing stone looks like it has a fine resin layer on top thats why lm asking as l think the owners will turn round and say why is it not finished like that
Hi lve got a stone job coming up it the entrance to an office building and lm looking for a durable sealer as there is high traffic if anybody knows of one prefferably not mega smelly cheers
for new installations l use hardie structural board, failing that when going on existing timber 6mm hardie, lve never tried no more ply but looks like an easier system to use with there glue
you need to go around with laser or water level and mark on floor different depths.
Then you could work out how many you need of each thickness. Then self level over top as floor needs to be bang on for plank tiles. Hope that helps :)
Hi guys l seen somewhere on here about a company in bury that does floor prep ( Take old tiles up and scrape adhesive off) any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
A decorator showed me a good trick and it actually works a good water proof PVA and permanent ink mixed together and paint over joints, you have about 1 minute to sponge it off but works great and no dust or grinding.
