I know it's that's time of the year now
Dark mornings darker nights coming
Anyone got any decent lighting they could recommend
Cheers

I bought 4 100w LED spotlights from eBay £40 and wired them to a load of old extension leads I had in the shed there not the prettiest things but they do the job and I bought a power inverter for my van 12v power point to run a 3 pin plug u can run up to 250w on mine but some go upto 2000w

I've tried them work lights from screwfix
And the miners hat might do a better job to be honest
Anyone tried the led ones from screwfix

i usually use a 110 v led light mounted up high pointing down when on site, really i prefer halogen for the extra brightness but do get stick and tired of replacing bulbs

Whilst we're talking lights, I've got twin LED lights 110v and they just stopped working.
They hadn't even been moved since last used few weeks ago.
There's power all the way up to the drivers in the back of the units, then nothing.
Can they be repaired?
Anyone know by any chance please?

You'll be able to get new drivers from RS Components or Maplins or even eBay, it's just whether you can get the right size to fit in the casing. Pull them apart and Google the part number is what I'd do in your situation.

I bought an led one from screwfix and used it yesterday morning in a small bathroom, it lit up the room very well.

My biggest problem with lights is them falling over, no matter how bright or big they are,my lads can be walking past one at the other end of the room , and it just falls over, and no one was EVER near it😱
I've called derek Akcora , he came out, and even him and his spirit guide Sam couldn't find anything :ghost::ghost::ghost::eyes::eyes: weird if you ask me :flushed:

Derek Acora is a massive fraud!! This guy is the real deal though

isn't it B.S. to have the end of job lights fitted or of similar brightness and position before tiling is started or is this another British Standard we choose to ignore
