This is a swimming pool i have just mosaic tiled in the cotswolds, i used Ardex X77 and Ardex FS white grout it took 9 day's in horrendous whether conditions ,the woman we did this rental property for, has a massive country estate down the road, and is also building a great -big new house that will have an indoor pool in that place, which we are hoping to be included on, this one is nothing special as the white mosaics were very cheap and very poor quality, the guy asked me how long before they could fill it so i said a minimum of 21 days from yesterday , he just smiled :sofahide:, but in this game you have to do whatever comes along, i hope you enjoy the film !, i was going to enter it into JOTM but forgot to buy a newspaper

Looks nice have you had the pleasure of tiling a pool with a hopper bottom in it they can be fun I tiled one with a massive hopper tried to walk up it and slipped banged my head I looked like a right twit

Looks nice have you had the pleasure of tiling a pool with a hopper bottom in it they can be fun I tiled one with a massive hopper tried to walk up it and slipped banged my head I looked like a right twit

i have tiled thousands with hoppers and wedge hoppers, not any sort of pool that i have never done i don't think

Thanks guys for all your comments i love to speak about swimming pool tiling its my life really :9: mike it was not a silly question that is how we all learn ask T-bag :hurray: and yes Neil it would be more in the hundreds rrr: this bloke always likes it correct lol like his tiling perfectionist

2 years ago I did all stone work in one house, and one company did swimming pool. They contacted me few weeks ago, as they liked my work, and I'm starting swimming pool in 3 weeks (glass mosaics) around 60sq.m. including spa. I think will take me one week to do that

Yes in Abergavenny we put it in the spata awards but unfortunately they put it in the 100,000 pound cat when it should of been the under 60k liner catagory I was told it would of at least got a bronze

I will take plenty of pics DPF and I hope they will give me more work to be honest I find very easy to do mosaics, but non of my tillers liked doing mosaics :lol:

I have won gold ,silver and bronze SPATA awards over the years but for swimming pool companies and not me !!! so now i have a bit in my terms to say we must be mentioned .... well done mike that work must be for that pool company over there in the garden centre mike i forget there name now i think they are agents for Jacuzzi .....?
