and I have not once ever said tiling is easy dave!!!! :incazzato:

could someone explain the method please? now these tools have been mentioned wouldn't know where to start with them lol cheers[/QUOTE
Set your laser up for example in a kitchen I'd pop in on the worktop. Hold a piece of batten upright in the centre of the floor (Or personally I use my spirit level) And mark on it where the laser is. If you move the batten and the laser line drops below the mark you've made the floor is getting higher, if it goes above your original mark then the floor is getting lower, does that make sense??

yes mate that makes full sense... thank you for taking the time mate... and this sounds a brilliant method you can get the dip in mm with ease I think when the money comes in will invest in one of these lasers. thank you

I thought it was a a bit too much.........(so I do not own one!) I can get a flat floor with a trowel.........and a level floor with a trowel and time.......£10.99 from any reputable tool merchant!.....
(time and skill are free!) hhehhehehhhee

all the best

i watched a vid last night which deffinately appealed to me as to levelling out a whole floor.... fix screws in the floor acroos the room for the exact height.... but something is telling me this would be the wrong way to go about it. whats your opinion mate? cheers
