I'm tiling a south facing balcony 36m x 4m. I plan to use expansion joints but could really use some advice as I've never used them before.
I'm tiling with 30 x 60mm porcelain tiles. Deep set bed S2
Should I use aluminium joints or leave a gap and fill with foam and silicon the top?
I've read they should be every 2 - 3 metres. If silicon and foam how wide should I make each expansion joint? Many thanks.
