One of my Plumber contacts has had a bit of bad luck.
I usually do all of his tiling On this occasion he decided to do his own. Tile round a bath - recently plastered walls.
ALL the tiles have fallen off - Jacuzzi bath damaged. He has also hurt his back in the process, trying to catch the tiles as they came off when he was pulling the spacers out.
The plaster had been allowed to dry out for 2 weeks - however he did not prime the walls prior to tiling - used Granfix standard tub adhesive. Think this was the cause - wall had probably sucked the moisture out of the adhesive before it had chance to set properly.
Ouch................. Insurance job :icon8:
Upside is that he want's me to re-tile - his insurance paying ££££ 🙂
