travatine ,re grout

Hello people. i have been asked to re grout about 25m2 of travatine.
The grout is Bal . super flex (limestone) not that the colour makes any differance , only that its a kitchen floor and has discoloured .

scrape out joints ? scrape the compleat joint ? scrape a little just to key ?

i dont mind how long it takes as it will be a good day work rate , it just has to look good when finshed.

its a working kitchen so dust has to be kept to a miniuim..

your thoughts are most welcome...

What's under the travertine, any membrane or UFH?

underfloor heating , in screed. no membrane..

What style of travertine? Tumbled edge or rectified ? Width of joint ?

tumbeled ege ,slighty beveled. 10mm joint.

If the grout is still in good condition (apart from the colour), have you considered recolouring it?

Have you thought about just cleaning it..?.. grout can get dirty and does come clean... you can then also clean the travertine and re-seal..

cleanings a possablity , not sure about re colouring , because of all the pits and holes that are filled with grout .

i will put all options forward . well not all of them..
