Tiling, Block Paving and Flag laying

I had a weird dream last night that entailed me taking my tiling and bathroom fitting service to another level.

Flag laying and block paving.

Are we all not in the same line of business ? All bothered about surfaces we lay onto, the look, the finish even the "grout" lines !!!!

How hard exactly is it to block pave a drive from starting with a concrete drive ?

1 Rip it up with 360.
2 hardcore, flatten
3 sand, flatten
4 lay, brush kiln sand
5 done !!!??? or is it lol !!!

its the tools you need ..ie whacker still saw etc for the paving,it can be costly to start up.

Knowing how deep to go for hardcore and whether its a drive or patio...

You have to know about damp levels on buildings and you have to know how to form falls for drainage etc and how to lift and install drain gulleys and surface water drains...


Not as straight forward as you think...
