HI there bit of a long post but comments & sugestions appreciated

I am currently near the end of my first year of NVQ Level2 Wall & Floor Tiling, but I have been made redundant from my current job this week so I am going to start tiling full time myself, the only thing is I have not really learn anything about natural stone laying i.e marble, so was thinking it might be worth doing a course on it to give me the confidence, does any1 reccommend any courses.

To date I have tiled 4 bathrooms 2 walls half way up & 2 full way up and floors as wells as over 150m2 of porcelin tiles in an open plan living room/kitchen through into a downstairs hall. This is the only experience I have apart from wall tiling on the course. Do you think ill be to inexperienced I can get pics of my work.

I'm going on a 1 day course at NE Tiling in a month after all the good feedback that its recieved.Might be just the thing your looking for, might just give you that little bit of confidence your lacking. The company is on the top right hand corner of the home screen.Get their phone number from their website and give them a call to ask their advice, their very friendly and helpful.🙂

I did my natural stone course at North East Tiling Training and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for the reply im seriously considering it. only problem is im in northern ireland so it will take a bit of setting up.

Make the effort to go on North East Tilings' Natural Stone Course, you will not be disappointed!!!

Stick with your NVQ, but maybe do a short course to get you the skills needed.

NE tiling apparantly offer good courses in tiling & natural stone.

Chase Tiling Academy offer this plus the chance to carry on with your NVQ with a view of getting it done a lot quicker than college. You will be able to cross reference what you have already done.

🙂
