Split face tiles and adhesives

What adhesives is everyone using for feature walls of split face tiles particularly when it’s behind a wood burner.
Would standard flexible adhesive be suitable as having concerns regarding the radiant heat

Yes - I have never had a problem with heat. Priming the walls always helps.
