Splash back tiling question

Good morning all,

I plan to do a tiled splashback for my kitchen. I was wondering whether the tiles should go under the wall unit end panels that border the hob and top box area which would involve scribing the panel to the tiles or butt up to them?

Also should the tiles run up to the bottom of the wall cabinets or simply the pelmet height?

Up to the end panels and Silicon ( same as grout colour) and tile up to the underside of the cabinets
