Just been reading up about these, it says it can remove wax from tiles if used to wash floors. Tesco's etc sell them so could be a cheap option for removing transit wax of tiles. I have not tried yet so if anybody tries before me let use know if does.

Baking soda is used for all sorts of stubborn cleaning jobs and is very effective, the larger crystals also dissolve in hot water, could be worth a try..?

Not something I have used , so they fully disperse and leave no gritty bits ?

Worth a shot if so

Thanks have used caustic to remove build up on existing tiles before it also removes wax and oil stains but you need to be careful with it

I use them for cleaning all sorts. They're brilliant for cleaning out your flask when it gets a coffee/tea build up on the inside.
