Hi All,
My shower room DIY project continues to throw up issues.
Having solved the PVA problem (please don't ask... I'll start to whimper), things have progressed at a reasonable pace.
Marblelite showerbase is installed (suitably tanked etc), and walls are now tiled, sealed, grouted and sealed again.
Walls are painted, floor covering purchased and all was looking good for a final fix this weekend.
Then I opened the Ronal shower screen boxes only to find that the wall clamp fixings that were supposed to be there, are not.
I've had these screen in storage for a while and the company I got them from died a while back.
I have trawled Google looking for anything that I could use/modify etc but so far have struck out.

Has anyone any ideas on what I could use to anchor these screen to the walls?

The details on the screens are as follows:
2000mm x 900mm x 6mm
Vertical edges have pre-fitted chrome trims I believe to give extra rigidity to the panels.
No pre-drilled holes and as it is toughened glass I can't make any.
From what I can make out the original wall fitting is a 2000mm "L" shaped extrusion with 4 clamp mounts equally spaced along the length.
A curved clip-on finisher then goes over the length to cover the clamps once the glass is fitted and wall/floor adjustment made.

I know it is not strictly anything to do with tiling, however I hope the MODS will indulge me, any pointers/suggestions anyone could give me to possible solutions to this problem would be very much appreciated.

Cheers guys
regards
Victor

You could get a fabrication company (like the one I work for to fold you some stainless steel into a channel. Mitre two parts together and weld them forming an 'L' shape then use some structural grout like arbocol to hold the glass in the channel. This is what I'm doing I am going to bond the bottom part of the channel to the tiles and fix the upright part back to the wall.

Alternativley you should be able to source some glass brackets online.
