Hi guys.

I have come up with a design for my bathroom ensuite which encludes a wetroom shower area.

I plan to have a custom screen made for the wall that sits directly behind the shower (1.3m away).
The screen will be 800mm wide and be wedged between two solid walls.

I am trying to figure out the best way of fixing.
If I want a watertight seal I'm guessing I would have to fit the screen in a channel at boths sides and at the bottom before tiling and then tile up to the channel. If I tile first then I would be worried about fitting the glass into the channel after the channel has been fixed.

Other option could be to use chrome brackets at the sides but then it wouldn't be watertight.

If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

Here is a pic of what I am trying to achieve.

Thanks.
David.

Can you not fit the screen first...i.e plaster board upto it then tile, leaving a expansion gap and fill with clear or colour grout?

it is much cleaner to go ontop of the tiling. I would use the chrome brackets then get mappei clear Silicon and use the smallest side of the grout finishing tool(square black rubber thing sold at leyland) you wont even see the Silicon if its a tight fit!
