I hope someone can give me some advice please!!!

I'm tiling an upstairs en suite wet room but the floor level is all over the place. I have 12 mm exterior ply wood down but it is 12 mm of level at some places and about 6mm at others. The area is 5m2 but there is an area of 1m2 which i don't want leveled as it the shower former. Is it ok to use self leveling compound up to the shower area and screed the shower area with the adhesive? I'm putting in underfloor heating so i'm not sure if there will be a problem with flexing??

I'm using mapei keraflex maxi adhesive.

Hello and welcome...

Mapei fibre plan is perfect for levelling timber floors with ufh....

Make sure you seal any area's the leveller might flow away...and yes you can screed to tray part with adhesive...( flexible)...

Thanks for that Dave.

This is the first time i've laid UFH so i don't want to end up with a very expensive mistake.

Thanks again

John
