Hi All , is there any easy / obvious way to spot rectified tiles? Would it tell me on the box for instance? Apologies if this is a particularly stupid question but hey, there only easy if you know the answers!!

Cheers

no question is stupid mate.......

Rectified tiles are just ones that have perfect square edges and no chamfer to them and all exactly the same size...( supposed to be .lol)...........

A lot of polished porcelain tiles are rectified tiles........also some stone ones as well.......

The tile doesnt have a rounded edge or the white line that you see on some, also the side edges can feel ribbed where a water jet has been used. The majority of RAK tiles are rectifird.

Ah the old rectificado's .....every tilers dream.... If it don't tell u on the box mate, the edges are very 'sharp',be wary of rectified ceramic tiles, the edges and corners are VERY fragile! :mad2:
