Hello People!
A mate wants to tile his kitchen floor with 4" quarry tiles. The floor is concrete, any recommendations for adhesives, primer? and notched trowel size please.

Thanks in advance. 😕

If its level, scrape and brush clear.Prime with mapei primerG,let sit for a few hours preferably, I'd personally use a 10mm notched trowel and use mapei keraquick adhesive grey or white depending on grout colour to be used.

Mapei do a good range f suitable adhesives and primer....

Trowel size...depends upon the profile on the back of the tile and how thick they are....6 to 8 mm will be fine if the substrate is flat....

For tiling floors in that format of tile then the floor needs to be flat or any deviations will show up like a sore thumb..
