Discuss Norton Clipper Flexovit Tt200 in the Tiling Tools area at TilersForums.com.

Had my TT200EM for about a year it only ever gets used for kitchen tiles but as long as u keep it clean and dry after use I can see it lasting a very long time but then again I'm a tool nerd and I dry mine out next to the radiator and douse it with wd40 but my next small scale wet saw will be the sigma 9p to go with my 10m I don't think there's a better table top saw on the market then sigma
Please can anyone out there confirm the thread on the motor shaft of the Norton Clipper TT200EM machine? Is it normal (clockwise to tighten the disc on the shaft) or left-handed (anti-clockwise to tighten). I have this machine with the nut stuck on the shaft and cannot work out which way to turn it.

Always lefty loosey - righty tighty!
Thanks, timeless john. You may like to know that the suppliers of the Norton Clipper TT200EM (Saint Gobain UK) are under the impression its lefty-tighty (i.e. reverse threaded)! I managed to strip the thread off the nut on a brand new machine (the motor spindle thread was burred over at the end), undoing it the normal way. Saint Gobain reckoned I'd stripped it because I'd undone it the 'wrong' way (yes it was stripped, but yes it also came off lefty-loosey, something that couldn't happen if it was reverse threaded)
