Hi to all, hope to get some advice on a project i am about to start

I am about tile a floor with 600x600 porcelain tiles 100 square metres in all, there is a coloum from floor to ceiling in the room, whats the best way of making a profile for the cut on the tile for tiling round the coloum

Are we talking a round column ??
If so just tile the floor and leave the 4 tiles or what ever around the column and then measure the diameter. Lay the tiles needed to go aroound it on the floor and with either something of same diameter or a compass mark the required diameter.

i'll try that, i think the coloum is about 2 metres across and yes it's round, somebody sugested making a template out of cardboard

2metres across then i would get a strip of wood with a hole for a nail or pencil and then 1metre away another hole for a pencil and use that.

Big column as well but Sir Ramic has you well advised there.
