Ok tanks for info mate.
Could be worth investing that little bit extra to get one i know will stand up to anything i throw at it so to speak.

What we need russ is someone who has put one of those machines through it's paces for a lengthy time to see if it stands up to the stick........Has anybody used one for a long period yet.?..just to see if they are worth buying...

I know someone who had a silverline...well had 3 in 2 years as they all developed faults. I think he got replacements though, by his own admission he used to abuse them.

I have a silverline one and it does everything that I throw at it. I tend to use a cordless drill with a smaller paddle for mixing up grout.

Well i might opt for the sparky one as i was thinking of doing a plastering course aswell so i think this one might be a bit more eqiupted to deal with mixing plaster as well. Im sure i read that Devon mark also had one of these (he's a plasterer aswell i think) and im sure he said his coped with everything he wanted it too.

Cheers for the input anyway everybody............

used my new silverline high spec mixer (as recommened in earlier posts) on monday for 1st time, well impressed!
