There have been a few threads recently that have lead me to look at these water fed drill systems again. It's something we have been considering adding to our product range for a while but weren't sure about the uptake of this type of product.

So I have a few questions.

Do many of you use these fully water fed systems?

For those that have the Marcrist PG850 set, is there range of sizes suitable or do you often wish they offered a particular size or sizes also?

Is there anything you'd like to see added or included with this type of drilling system?

If its going to be a water fed system then can it be simple. The Marcrist is a faff to set up for a few holes. I tend just to use a sponge.

Actually you've just described the reason we've not bothered with this system so far, it is a faff. If you've got a couple of holes to do the electroplated or Dry M14 grinder bits jobs are probably more sensible.

The water fed systems are quicker of you've got a room full of floor lights to drill or extreme porcelain.

From a producers point of view tiling is just one avenue for us for this product, it would also be of interest to the glazing community and mason community so it does have a few outlets.

I was trying to get a feel for anything we could do different.

I've had more than one person tell me they use a sponge or spray with the Marcrist system rather than setting up the bottle and flow etc.
