I have seen some comments on the price etc of Aqua defence... i would like to point out that yes you can get paste tanking kits for less but you have to remember that they are smaller in size..

Most are only 5kg paste and then tape etc within a 10 ltr bucket... Aqua defence is actually 15kg of just paste,, so on average 3 times bigger than other ones.. So this in theory works out a lot cheaper.. and goes a lot lot further..

Just wanted to point this out..

the bal wp1 8 litre is £38 (trade) in topps which to me is better value , i was quoted £115 for the aquadefense. quite a difference and unless i know there's a difference in quality i know which i'll be buying

Aqua defence can be tiled on within 4 hrs..and the re-sealable tub means none is wasted and can be used on the next job..

wp1 takes 12 hrs to dry..

you can still put the lid on wp1 aqua defense sounds good though have you used it dave 4 hours is quick

handy for that reason if required dave but i normally tank the required walls then start tiling the others. doesn't hold me up that way
