Abbe!

Hi, I've read lots and lots of posts about this as I really want to get this right! :) I want to grout my kitchen floor with a glitter effect. The tiles are cream and I was thinking of the Sahara yellow Kerapoxy design and gold Mapeglitter. I've read that epoxy grout is hard to work with and there was another thread on here where a tiler had used Buildfix from B&Q alongside Mapeglitter. The result looked good from the pics but I'm a bit concerned as Mapeglitter states that it should specifically be used with Epoxy grout, does anybody know why. I'd rather use the Buildfix stuff though if it's going to work ok...I'd appreciate any thoughts?
Thanks! :O) x

The Kerapoxy is easy to wash off and not hard some other makes.. it will last for years.. the normal cement based grouts will discolour after ti me and need cleaning the kerapoxy will be like new for years,.

Warm water and a white scotch pad will make light work..

The Kerapoxy is dead easy to use. I have used the Kerapoxy glitter on many jobs with no difficulty at all.

As Dave says, use warm water. I apply the Kerapoxy working small areas at a time and carefully wash off after approx 10 mins. I give a second "cleaning" wash after only about 10 mins with more clean warm water and then maybe a quick buff with a white scotch pad when the job is fully grouted.

Again, as per Dave, the epoxy grout will look spot on for years longer than a cement based grout.
