Well only had 1 job since the turn of the new year and things were looking glum.

Within the last hour i have had 3 different phone calls, ALL from reccomendations.
Totally made my day.

Good man. I sometimes go a few weeks with no calls, lets me get on with the work then you get a few days when the phone doesnt stop. Then the quoting merry-go round starts again and juggling dates for starting jobs!

Makes it nicer that they are recommends. Wasn't really expecting anything until next week at the earliest. Local rag this week has over 15 tilers in it, usually has 2-3, presume most are trying to get some January work.
Dad also had a word with his mate yesterday who runs a kitchen fitting firm (he hasn't seen him for ages) to see if he ever has work.
His reply "always need a tiler, can never bloody find one. Should have loads of work for your lad"
So another nice bit of news :)
