i am tiling the whole bathroom wallls and floor is it best to tile walls down to floor or floor second up to wall tiles for best finish?as you can probably tell im new to this tiling game

I would personally put the wall tiles down onto the floor tiles,you could use battons fixed to wall at the second row from bottom base point.
Tile above these level batons then when set take off,tile floor,then cut and fix bottom row right around.Hope that helps ya

Brickie, if your floor tiles and wall tiles can bond through then set out walls and floor. So you get good cuts/centred walls, focal points etc. Then lay floor first, all you need to do then, is plumb up from floor joints. Hope this helps

good idea Phil.the tiles though will have to be extremely well sized.
I'v seen me having to put 2mm spacers on walls and 3mm in floor to get good matches,lol
