Have a laugh at this price

13m2 quartz in toilet, painted walls, floor needing overlayed with cement board / ply!
3m2 quartz in kitchen splash, old tiles need removing

prep work inc
remove pant or re sheet walls in toilet
cut door down to size
remove tiles from kitchen and prep wall
removal of old furniture from toilet

She was quoted (apparently) £570!! inc all materials!

What would you have charged, I thought i was doing well with £750 as she was friend so i gave her small discount!

As you say -apparently!
Sometimes it's just not possible to be competitive and we have to take that walk in the opposite direction.
Hopefully she'll get the job done well, within her budget and be another happy customer - just not yours

Not a price that will command any attention to detail or allow the fitter the time to produce a quality installation. Maybe she will find that out the hard way.

750 is cheap charlie some of the prices banded about at the minute are crazy
