Grouting Mosaic Strip

Hi Folks. Just started tiling bathroom. F2C around bath (3 sides), 280mm slate tiles with 4" glass mosaic strip. Slate to be grouted in Mapei Ultra 130 (grey) and mosaics white. What do most of you do? Grout all grey first and white after? I would normally but I sometimes struggle to get good edges where 2 grouts meet. Would greatly appreciate the benefit of your experience. (Slate has been sealed once with Larson Impregnating sealer prior to grouting. Just finished kitchen so I'll post some pics when I can find the doobrie to get them of my phone!0

Do the dark first as you say, let it fully set then do the light. Mask the dark where the two meet, any white that gets on the grey should wash off when the whole lot has fully set.

What method do you use to get a nice clean edge to the grout at the open end of the tile (where they join the yet to be grouted mosaics)

Do you mean on the external edge of the tile.

When you grout in grey use a flat scraper to cut the edges perfectly straight.
The edge of tile say. Grout can be tidied for a while while setting especially the ultracolour.
As above then tape off when grey has set and use your white.
Usually an easy job, just time consuming so if it's a good size job grout the grey at edges some evening and the white next day or so.
