Try a grout cleaner...something like lithofin grout cleaner is good.....Or there are some household stuff you can use.....My good lady swears by Dettox bathroom spray....but for amore intense clean the lithofin is the way to go...and is availbale from all branches of CTD...
thanks for info dave. i agree with the gel/ shampoo theory as mostly girls use a blue shampoo. will lithofin clean off this colour as i have tried bleach which has had no effect or can you suggest another way to mask blue prior to reseal.

Use a very fine grit rubber sanding puck like they use for plaster finishing to scuff off the surface color if the chemical cleaners aren't having an effect.
If you just use an edge (make sure you get one of the rounded edge ones)
and go lightly it should work well without scuffing the tiles.
I have done this on occasion and pack one around in my kit.

My grout turned bright red the week after fixing was complete....much thanx to the wife who decided to dye her hair RED.....she then spent a week scraping it out so that I could regrout with epoxy...and still she managed to get some dye into the tiles ....getting a divorce now and moving away from red grouts.

Its from copper in your water due to inside of pipes being corroded. happens more to light tiles
