Ok..I'm going to take a chance and mitre round some boxing in of a soil stack...floor to ceiling...tiles are 8mm 400mm brown metallic tile...cut some off cuts going through my wet cut slowly and copious amounts of water and cuts nice..no chipping..so first off is it ok to mitre ceramic or bit dodge due to possible chipping by client at a later date? I assume cuts must touch with no grout ? ...any other tips...doing this as no brown trim to match tile and they don't like metal so my bum is twitching a bit..any advise would be appreciated..

Yours truly "bathroom basher"

Leave 2mm of the finished edge showing and fill the gap with colour matched Silicon as richie b says

'bathroom basher' - mitring the edges will weaken the corner and make them suspect to chipping but aesthetically it's the best way. As others it helps to leave a couple a mm on the side of the mitre and a joint width at the angle which would normally just get grouted!
Your faithfully - full time tiler.

If done right which is seldom looks much better and I have never had a chipping problem but it been a while he he not sure sure on the bricks
