DW24000 external mitre

Any tips for doing an external mitre on the dw24000 with tiler larger than 330mm, ive found i need to cut the tiles face down then to stop tile chipping, place another tile bellow it.... just wonder what you guys do?

Don't let the blade break through the face of the cut.. keep it back and allow a small arris edge for 2 externals to meet neatly.
