Before you attack it with acid cleaners. i would go over the floor with a scotch pad and Aquamix grout haze clean up..

There is no need to strip sealers if haze is just easily removed .

I had this same thing happen to me on a recent tumbled travertine mosaic bathroom I did.
I couldn't believe how much grout the walls took, and even though I kept washboying as I went along, I ended up with a quite bad misty smear over the tiles.

I used a "grout residue removal" solution. I mixed it up to the most concentrated, and used a cheapo plastic scouring pad scrunchy type thing to agitate the surface.
I left it one for 10 minutes, then rinsed it off with clean water.

And yes, you will need to seal again after this, it brought the colours of the tiles right out and looked awesome once done.
It takes alot of effort, but its the best way to go and don't worry, it can be fixed!!!!
