hi i have a small problem the wall am tiling to is plastered thought the people have painted with this damp proof membrane liquid hears the link http://reviews.wickes.co.uk/9987-en_...17/reviews.htm can i sbr over that with bal sbr or will it have to be striped off??

Hi and welcome...is it there to stop any damp coming thru the wall....

Try peeling a small bit off. If it takes the paper leave it on and sbr is fine over it. If it peels off without the paper it's gotta come off.
