had a call today 40m2 of porcelain on an outside patio, no dpm, just hard core and concrete slab, anyone know of some kind of dpm that can be applied to the slab..

I wouldn't DPM it. If you do, when it rains and soaks the tiles and addy then freezes they will pop off. Use an adhesive suitable for external use

can't you lay it on a sand and cement mix like you would slabs..5 sharp...1 soft and 1 cement...wet mix..not too wet that it floats around.

will rising damp from the slab not affect the adhesive..? im looking at the same as tiling a floor inside a house with no dpm..

You don't get freeze thaw inside. That is your main enemy outdoors. There are adhesives suitable for out doors.
