Ok I have a telephone line for diamond pool finishers, but I want to start another company, so is it in your opinion s unprofessional to run a company from a mobile number ? as I am not sure how I can run two different business from the same place, thanks ?

i will get shot down for this but personaly i feel it will look unprofessional to run from just a mobile but saying that if you had your address on your cards it wouldn't matter as much

Get a VOIP phone you can use on your broadband. This has the benefit of being able to have any phone number you want attached to rather than a regional area code.

Don't think I've used my landline for years, the stigma has gone about gypos and mobiles ,I've never had a problem 😉

I don't mind texting,I text quotes a lot or email.
I talk to the customers when I see the job and explain if I text or email I have it wrote down so when my 3 second goldfish memory kicks in I can usually find it on my phone 🙂

Well I have never been text ed for a job, we use emails a lot but I have now read a bit about voipfone now and I agree with DIamond tools. it seems the way forward for me Thanks Diamond.

We only use mobile phones for business in Norway. However, texting, they use a little, but not me. I have 2 pet hates in life, people scraping cutlery on their teeth at meal time, and texting. I deleted the message centre number from my phone to disable texts. It's a fad that got out of hand used by morons with no social skills.
