I have recently been asked to tile a chipboard floor thats on a ground floor it is far too flexible to tile and i cant see how it can be strengthened. a cubicle has allready been installed directly onto this...This is a floor that is just not suitable to tile but i want to tell the custoimer in a nice way obv for any future work...

explain why it shouldnt be done and hope she sees it that you take pride in your work and dont want to do shabby work
hopefully she will respect you more for this and use you again.

I've had customers ask me to tile floating floors, just explain to them why it can't be done, tell them to search on the internet as well so they can see it for themselves, they will thank you in the end for saving them a world of heartache..
