BathTubEconomic

Hi, I'm BathTubEconomic (BTE for short) I'm having a major extension built which means two bathrooms and an ensuite need creating from scratch, plus the new living room, kitchen and laundry will be tiled also. So I'm here looking for advice on types of tiles, costs, what I should be checking for when the work is done etc. I have three kids so the tiles I have must be hard wearing and generally kid proof, and the bathrooms must be able to withstand a good soaking without my new ceilings collapsing.

Any help advice will be gratefully received.
