Hi, I'm after a manual cutter that cuts 600 by 400 Porcelain like butter! (Price not a problem)

I have just purchased a rubi ts 70 thinking it would be ok, but it struggles with the easiest of cuts and the breaker doesn't have the strength to beak the whole length of the tile,600mm. It cuts the corner edge off the tile even on simple thick straight cuts most times? I end up scoring the tile then using my wet cutter to finish the cut. This is making my jobs turn into marathons !! not too mention the wastage.

I would say go for a Sigma for all round performance.
If its to go through porcelain like butter then I would look at a Tomecanic SuperCoup 75.

I bought 1 a while back & it's a beast of a cutter but it hardly gets used since I went to Sigma.
Only suitable for porcs though as its too brutal for glazed ceramics..

Don't know any tillers with one, I was informed a rubi ts 70 would be ok! but it's disappointing.

Yeah, just a very light score on ceramics.

Can you recommend one that could cope with 600 tiles and over and handle type?
The most popular cutter is the 3C2M 74cm MAX cutter. Max is a push handle that is easy to use. powerful breaker that will cut up to 20mm porc but at the same time do ceramic, glass, mosaics etc..etc..All our cutters are built from start to finish in Italy by hand so you get what you pay for.

A lot of the time, when cutting Porcelain, it's a technique thing.. My mate can cut Porc on his Rubi 9 times out of 10, yet I'm more like 2 out of 10. I've tried doing it exactly how he does it, but no joy!?!
Hopefully, I'll get to demo some sigma's some day, and something will just click! :D
