    Silicon not setting after 2 days

    Hi guys.a friend of mine done some silicon around a bath and is still not set after 2 days.i told him it migbt be expired but sayd its still in date. It was unibond brand,just been opened.i never hears of this before.does anyone else? Thanks

    You still need to screw the boards down.they dont need priming.and you need to tank all the corners and joints with paste and membrane.

    Hi guys soon i have to do a garage floor but weather is not the greatest. All tile adesive diferent brands it not recomanded below 5 degree. I am puting antifracture mat down. My question is if anyone fited tiles under 5 degree temp and if there been problems? Thanks

    Sorry to keep replay in bits. But is a 200% FAIL!!! .i am verry sory for you.dont blame the guy as it looks like he done his best.next time you get a tiler in.make sure u ask for reference,qualified&insured.or proof of previous work!

    Yes because thats were you pay your price for a profesional good tiler!at the cuts and winows,doors,arches etc.

    Never came across of doing it.but recently had to tile a shower but it just been skimmed the day before and was still wet specialy in the shower area was realy wet. Decided to leave it to dry as didnt wana take any chances.as if not dry all the moisture comes true the grout or adesive might not...

    Basicly was from the same mixing bucket as the rest.but only few grout lines were a bit diferent (wet look). There were ceramic tile verry high absortion i noticed wen grout and cleaned.wonder if the case of that as well.
