    Best Deal Supplier's

The MLT is expensive. I think it was being made in Italy for awhile but might be here in the states now. Any system you choose to use is a good investment, but some folks think these make a poor tiler a good one, not really the case. But it does make a good job a great job. Just stay away from...

    Best Deal Supplier's

I know a member here posted about it, so I would say for stone, you can not do better than the MLT system. It costs more than most, so may not be a good idea for 1 job. They offer rubber feet (added cost) to prevent scratching. I would just say to stay away from any system that requires twisting...

    Quarry Tiles Flaking

I ask because quarry is very porous and if it was sealed long ago, though 3 months is not long, unglazed will allow natural moisture in. Quarry Tiles Flaking

I wonder if the sealer may have gotten into the pours of the tile and froze. That would make the breaking or shearing of the tile understandable. Is it a water or solvent based sealer? It is not available where I am so I don't know.

    Tile On Or Around Bath

Always tile to the bath. I didn't see it posted, but it is a good idea to fill the tub with water before you Silicon the tile to tub transition. The water will pull the tub down, giving you the biggest joint to fill, and prevent you from having to go back because the Silicon seperated.

    Wooden Plank Effect Floor Tile

I agree with setting them random, but I did one recently and had some joints too close. That would be my only warning, Make sure you don't set joints too close. Looks bad with tile, not with real wood.

    Chipped Porcelain Tile

As said, cut out the grout, cut groves in the offending tile with a grinder, remove tile, put in new tile with grain matching the one above so all 4 looked planned and ready grout. Simple thing really...but the very last thing I would do is start smashing it with a hammer....
