    Cutting porcelain, visible edge needs to be good

    Hi. Steady hand+ angle grinder+ polisher. I also recomend masking tape. I always use masking tape and pen ( not pencil) Masking tape stops tile edge from chipping 100%.

    Hi. I used to have Flex polished. But it's big and heavy. Paid £260 and it didn't last that long. Now I use Makita polisher (£110) and I am very happy with it. Its lighter, cheaper.

    I didn't want any grout line on treads :) And still need few more days to finish Jacuzzi (600x600 tiles) . Going back there in 2 weeks. Will post more pics. :D

    15mx5mx1,5m pool. 1200x1200x10 porcelain tiles. Setting out was most important, as all joints inside pool and surround have to line up. Ardex adhesive and Kerrakol anthracite grout.

    All stone pieces with mitred corners been cut in workshop on big saw. Also fitted three bath with same stone. Two of them for Dawid Walliams few years ago.

    Okay, then second window could have been done full tile against the plastic window frame. Obviously that is window fitters fault :)), didn't have laser level....Tiler did lovely job :)

    Just noticed, you didn't continue brick pattern on window return, is there any reason?. Also looks like there are two windows in your photos , and they are slightly different level? one is lower then other?

    Vanity frame was made out of wood and ply. I took measurements for limestone, allowing for mitres. Stuck 1 inch masking tape to edge where mitres are (on face of panel ). First fitted top piece using clear Silicon, then all other pieces on Silicon , but at the same time with plenty of cream...
