Opinions On A Cracked Basin Please? (solved)

I did it that way today with Tilemaster self adhesive tape and their tanking paste. I will tile it and then just cut off the excess afterwards with a sharp knife blade. First time I've used the Tilemaster tanking stuff, quite liked it, much less mess than Ardex WPC, is it as good though? Only...

Do they stock it or is it special order?

I do agree with some of those things, but Kerdi/wedi on that is probably a bit ott given its cost.

    Hardiebacker 22mm Structural

Selco apparently stock it, according to an old post I saw from James Hardie themselves, but I've only seen 6mm and 12mm in there.

It didn't actually smell too bad, but it was in a right state, it all just fell off.

Easier to use yeah, not easier to get hold of, though! Could just tank the Hardiebacker.

I would overboard it with 6mm Hardiebacker if I were you, it won't add much to the height. Chipboard is next to useless when wet.

Well I've got it now, and I must say it's quite impressive! How do you normally mount yours? I've got a pole that I used with my old one. Ideally I want something with height adjustment to mount it on!

After reading this thread, I'm looking at buying the Dewalt 089d1 as it looks great! A new screwfix has opened near me, and they have 10% off everything! £423 after the discount, which seems quite a good price. I blame you @3_fall :)

    Basic Laser ?

No, 2 crossed lines, it sits on the edge of a tile, or can sit flat on the ground too as it has a removable base plate.

It's not green, but ive got a Stabila floor one barely used, that I am selling, as looking at a Dewalt 360 green one. It's this one: Stabila FLS90 Floor Line Laser: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools

Nice Customers But They Are Driving Me Mad.

Oh that's a shame. I use the iPhone version and not had a problem with it, been using it for a year and a half now. I also have a mobile printer, so print the invoice out in my van, and take it in to the customer, which always impresses them!
