    Help dealing with a tiler

Wow, how could anyone think that's acceptable? I'd be ashamed of that!

    Help dealing with a tiler

This sort of thing is what worries me. I do kitchens and bathrooms and want to find a good tiler to help with workload, but just don't think I'll find anyone good nearby without trying a few bad ones first! Any good tilers from Nottingham need some work?!

Haha thanks! I think it would have looked better with trim around each niche, rather than the trim around both of them though?

What do you think of these tiles?

Congrats! Priorities, hey?! ;) I've got a stabila pole, I fit the Dewalt to that, but it doesn't have fine height adjustment, and it takes a while to setup. I reckon the best combination is a Bosch BM1 and a Bosch MM2!

Does that have fine height adjustment on it, or is it just a case of "move bracket to where you want it and twist the knob"?

My mate bought a cheap Bosch laser, which came with one of these: http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-mm-02-professional-adjustable-clamp/3992k I tried it with the Dewalt laser, just clamped onto an architrave, and it held it without any problems at all, I was really surprised at how good it was...

What do you think of these tiles?

No, they were glazed, perhaps would have worked better if they hadn't been.

And in the background you can see the Dewalt laser that I bought, based on your recommendation! I do really like it though! Whilst on that subject, do you ever stick yours to angle beading behind plaster? I find it's right on the verge of being too heavy for the magnets to hold it. It does hold...

What do you think of these tiles?

I nearly did go to 2mm, but they weren't 100% spot on size wise, so didn't want to risk it! The customer loves it, and that's the main thing of course. I was quite impressed with them for the price though, £22.94/sqm

Not tried it yet, still on the desktop! (definitely fine on here, though)

What do you think of these tiles?

I know, it's a 3mm joint, didn't really want to go smaller than this. A 2mm would have been better, but really you'd need a 1mm for it to look the same!

    No, not Topps

What do you think of these tiles?

Just doing a bathroom at the moment, and used some interesting tiles that I haven't seen before, they were a bit of a pain to cut, as they have fake grout grooves in them, so couldn't score them to cut, had to angle grind every one! I think they look quite good when down though, what do you...

    Tanking drying fast

Yes, I've done that a couple of times. The bathroom I'm doing at the moment I've lipped it to the top of the bath, then do the tiling, then cut it with a sharp knife right up to edge of tiles, then Silicon. It takes a bit of effort to pull it off, but that's a good thing I suppose!

Yeah, will give that a go cheers. Was just curious as to whether anyone else was having the same problem :)
