    Tiling over lath and plaster

Just checking, are you saying this would be ok for 6mm no more ply cement board as well? Is the fact there will be no horizontal noggins at the end of the boards an issue? Or are the studs enough considering the lath and plaster will provide some degree of rigidity? Thanks again

    Tiling over lath and plaster

Thanks JK. Yeah, depth is no issue. Never used the foam backer board. What brand is it and where would you recommend buying it? Presume it would be fine for 600 x 300 ceramic tiles? Cheers

    Tiling over lath and plaster

Hi, I'm about to tile over an old but good condition lath and plaster wall over a bath. I'm going to use no more ply cement board, should I strip the old lath and plaster away and use 12mm board or would I get away with 6mm over the existing plaster? The studs are easy to locate. Cheers

    No more ply - Priming

Hi, I'm installing my bathroom. I've used No More Ply around the shower area walls and on the whole floor. The instructions say to prime it with their SBR primer to waterproof the boards. I have bought Mapei Rapid Set Flexi to tile the walls and floor. The instructions on this say I must use...
