hi, what is the wall construction? it would not be much work to either 1. screw a batten to the wall and add a thin strip of tile backer board, or, if masonry wall, dot and dab a thin strip of tile backer board to bring level with existing wall then tile the whole lot?

sorry to say this, but my personal opinion is that you should call back the tradesman. Some of those tiles it doesnt even look like they are grouted at all. it can be the case that some tiles can be heavily bowed and some lippage is acceptable. where are the tiles from as this looks quite...

bitumen dpm blackjack from over quarry tiles, two coats perpendicular in direction to each other. lapped up the walls to the injected dpm in the bricks.
