I have just tiled a floor with under floor heating and once’s it was turned on before tiling cracks appeared which always happens so I wouldn’t tile until it has been commissioned .
Told the client a wasn’t doing the job as he wasn’t prepared to pay the extra for the primer and also the kerabond t and isolastic so he messaged me today to say that he got a tiler who texted the the board with sticking a tile on with s2 and he’s happy to go with that 😂😂🙈🙈

A couldn’t see the video a was just going on the pictures and the white tiles seem lower than the black ones that’s why a was saying that it mite be the different coloured once
A lot of trades now have Facebook pages and my builder feed back could you not leave a message on that if he has one to warn others a no it’s not helping your case rite enough if it was my house a would be rite to his door for my money back 😡😡
A think a no him without naming names the thing is a lot of people think he’s a good tiler but he has probly now done more bad jobs than good ones but still gets work
It must be bad if you can feel them under feet with shoes on do you have spare tiles that you can put together to see if they were different thickness was the tiler from Kilsyth
Am from Kilsyth and have heard that there’s a few tilers leaving bad jobs but as a said on my post one of the tiles mite be a different thickness as a have just done a big floor with porcelanosa tiles and they had a border tile and they were told that they were same thickness but once put...
It looks as if the the tiles are two different thickness looking the picture that the ruler is touching two of the but the one in the middle is lower is this another bad job done by a kilsyth tiler 😡😡
These people think they can just watch videos on you tube and do things 🙈🙈also the wunda heating company have a video as well with a man and a women laying it 😂
A think over boarding is the answer and as 3fall you say make sure it mechanically fixed the other problem is the client is fitting it himself so am going to see it Monday before a actually agree to do the job as the client works in IT 🙈
A have spoke to Mapei they said prime it first then tile directly on to it with Mapei keribond t with isolastic which is there 2 part stuff but as usual they just say that’s what they recommend it’s over 100m so a don’t want it coming back to me if it lifts
Hi there am wondering if anyone on here has tiled on to the wunda floor system with the foil boards and if so can yous tell me best way to tile it am not to sure a want to do the job as there’s not a lot of good feed back any information would help One of your fellow tilers 👍
