300 year old Limestone flags. These were shalling and breaking up. we had to stabilise them, clean them and stop one or two from rocking. These go into 3 other rooms. The owners wanted traditional methods used, so we oiled them (linseed/stone oil) twice to create a strong mechanical finish and then beeswaxed them twice. Lots and lots of hands and knees work!! We loved this job!
Machine Manufacturer Terracotta. This floor suffered the wrath of bleach and Flash floor cleaners which stripped it. It was sad, matt and dirty. Deep cleaned and waxed it came back to life. The owners now know how to clean it right.
A very early quarry tiled floor where the customer wanted it to remain as it was (including tiling mistake - see pattern) and sympatheticaslly cleaned, partial grout to add strength and then clear linseed sealant. Grade 1 listed property.

Indian Sandstone floor. Cleaned for years with Flash / Daz/ Bleach left this floor getting dirtier and dirtier. The sealant had been stripped by the careful cleaning using these products. We degreased, deep cleaned and then sealed it using a strong surface sealant.
Classical Flagstones. Had gone matt and filthy. Deep cleaned and LTP Ironwax Satin applied.
Yorkstone. Bitumen removed (grrrrrr!), cleaned, sealed using a matt impregnator, grouted and left to look as if it had always been like that.
